For 20 years Christian Depardieu has been in touch with the French and International art world. Facing a movement of standardization and networking of all cultures a few artists hold on to their differences without really being able to portray them. It is therefore why the Gallery Depardieu organizes 5 to 6 exhibitions per year to offer these strong personalities a, national and international space, in a cosmopolitain city like Nice where artists, famous or not, chose to live and work. The gallery choses to show a very eclectic choice of artists who work with different material, painting, sculpture, photography video and installations.
In order to promote the acces to contemporary art, the galerie constantly organizes cultural interpretations of art dedicated to all types of publics. Artists meeting, conferences, musical manifestations, performances are also organized to urge the public into confronting contemporary art.
